Well, although I prefer The Rabbit Joint's remix because it's just so damn zany, here's my OWN remix of the two central Zelda themes, in a jungle/techno style, with some orchestral elements as well. I think it turned out fairly well; at first I wanted to do more work with the chord progression, but I opted instead for a more ambient, lonely rendition of the melody, with some cool loop manipulation + stereo panning effects . . . hope you enjoy . .

Wait a minute is that the weird flute from Shin Shuriken Jam??
I'm a sucker for perfectly ordinary ReMixes with almost unfitting modern drumbeats / basslines. This might not be the best example of that, I don't think it has that 'unexpected meshing' factor 100%, but it IS an example and I kind of like it anyway. It's too bad though that, besides the neat solo section and the bit leading up to it, it's kind of a straight cover with a drumloop. Which is exactly what OCR is known to be for the uninformed hahahaha. Oh well, can't win them all.

Uh.....hmm...I normally love jungle and techno, so putting them together seems to be perfect to my ears. However, the beeping parts wasn't my cup of tea. The Middle Eastern sounding bits are great and when the beeping is overtaken by the other instruments, it's excellent. The arrangement was amazing though, and I'm sure that once I get used to the beeps of it, I'll completely love it. Sweet ReMix.

Reminds of the Kill Bill movies. Another make of this song devoted entirely to that approach would be pretty sweet.

Some pretty cool concepts, and I dig the beat, but I don't feel they always gelled, mainly due to a lack of bass in a lot of frequencies. Some bass synth comes in at some point, but it sounds like it needs more. Flute solo is nice stuff. Samples sound a bit dated, but nothing kills it. A decent mix.

Poppin!...That's the way that I'd define the peppy style of this peace. Very cool timbre too.

Yes I'll have to agree with all of you. The Flute solo kicks. At least it kicks a lot more than my moped does. I just had to boost up the volume to the max. This song rocks.

^ Ditto. The flute solo was what made me love this remix, so creative, and it takes the already amazing tamber of the remix to an even more exciting level. Perfect for dancing! Need I say more?!

I love this song...but for some reason I got its name confused with the stupid singing one, called town mix.....again, I don't know why......but ya, great song and everything. the flute solo is great too. I personally hate it when I hear too much techno, so I can't repeat this song too much. I much rather hear all of my favorites then one of them over and over again....

Okay.... The rest of the song, yeah, it's good, but straight-up pales in comparison to the flute solo, and I haven't heard much past 2:45 'cuz I keep getting bored and jumping back to the flute solo. Hey, DJP, I don't suppose you have a nifty little PDF of the sheet music for that sitting around, do you? I'm a flutist and I'd love to be able to play that. So yeah. If you're reading this.... *jumps back to flute solo AGAIN* DOWNLOAD IT NOW! It's badass, and if DJP gets me the sheet music, I will finally be able to prove to the band that flute does indeed kick more ass than tuba. I'll stop typing now, it's distracting me from that AWESOME flute solo.

I didn't like this song the first time I listened to it. I do like the jazzy flute solo in the middle, but the excess beeping in the background is about to drive me nuts. I like it when it mellows out after the solo, but then it goes right back to the beginning.
