This ReMix makes me smile. It's a little cheesy in its use of TR-808-ish drums and old-house synth bassline, but that's what gives it its charm, methinks. It's nice to hear yet another, different take on the Zelda theme, this one sticking more to the roots and being fairly basic compared to other pieces I've heard (Hell, I somehow managed to fit a jazz flute solo into my own Zelda ReMix . . . did anyone notice?) but still adds something to the original and like I said, brings that old classic action-rpg smile to my face.

Yep, I see what we have here, and I pretty much have to just leave it as a nice sounding almost midi mix. Not that I care, I like simple midi mixes sometimes, but that's what it seems to be and I'll just leave it at that.

Ah, one of the old classics. It doesn't stick out much, what with the advances in remixes today. Still, it's nice to hear it now and then. Nice, nostalgic classicy goodness.

I like this. One of the charms of older OCR submissions is the simpler take on some songs. I like that you can take a good idea and just perfect it on a smaller level without blowing everyone's mind all the time.

This looks like almost the definition of midirip action with a beat layered on top.

This is pretty much cover material. With drums. Not doing it for me, sorry.

Wow, I'm stymied at how this made it through two lockdowns. This is as boring a remix as I can imagine. It's the Zelda theme, identically preserved in a formula of dated, by-the-numbers electro work. It may well have been my cup of tea back in the day of OCR's beginning, but this is just boiled water for me now. Shame there wasn't anything interesting in here at all. I hate giving 100% negative reviews.

Not feeling this one, too much cheese and not enough arrangement for me.
Sorry.

ZELDA music is great. This remix is quite simple, has a ridiculous reverb, and the EQ is bad. But it's all good.

Very simplistic. But it's still catchy. Not much variation from the orginal theme. 6/10

hmm... i remember the times when i used to play this game and sing along to the music... heh i also remember the times when i used to sing just the music.... wait, that was yesterday..... oh well!
i often found that video game music was sometimes better than 'real' songs.... oh well, i like it... its simple, but simples good!

This mix should be subtitled "or, Link Does Electroclash." For some reason this tune is so dead-on reminiscent of Ladytron and Felix da Housecat one can't help but wonder if it would do well in a New York club. Good stuff!

I don't take this remix would make it today. Sweet to the ear, but I don't find it creative enough, too repetitive and close to the original.

Back in the day OCR must of had low standards for there mixes. This is alright. 2/5
