At this moment in time, on this site, I think this is the best ReMix. This fucking kicks ass. I can't speak intelligently about it, it's too damn good. It's EXACTLY what the original should have sounded like. If you don't download this, you have committed a grave sin. REAL electric guitar, driving drums. Oh to hell with it, I can't BEGIN to do it justice in words. This could be a 300meg download and it'd be worth it. Get it.

Jesus, dude! This is absolutely wonderful, from the soft, damn near heroic opening, the awesome electric guitar playing (especially when you really open up in the later half of the ReMix) that kept the original tempo (or at least close to it) and the easy outro, this is how a metal Terra ReMix is done. This is the kind of energy that I think the original Terra theme could have really used to take it another notch, so I'm glad to hear it here. Truly enjoyed this one, great ReMix!

So, Ailsean revisited this one and made it even more amazing: http://www.ailsean.net/index.php?option=com_contenttask=viewid=59Itemid=26

I agree with djp. This is what the original should have sounded like. The synth choice in the beginning really set the same mood as the game's opening. It sounds like a "snowy" synth. The guitars are nice and clear, and well-performed. This mix just rocks in every way.

Never listened to it before. I must agree with everyone that it is one of the best (old) remixes of the website.
The guitar playing, mixing with the pads/synths, is amazingly emotional. The song feels tragic but a bit happy at the same time. Loving it. Instant favourite.

Absolutely incredible, by far one of my favorite mixes on the site. This is nearly ten years old, but still holds up even to the most recent remixes here. If you don't download this, you should not be on OC Remix.

Even though this one is quite old, it still holds up as one of the more memorable FF remixes for me.

This was probably the song that drove me to OCRemix in the first place.
I am not exactly a fan of the MIDI-sounding intro, but everything after that is just perfect. So much emotion in his playing.
EDIT: I'm hearing it again after a long time and, damn, I know every single note of this by heart. It's that gorgeous. One of the best mixes I've ever heard.

One of the top 10 most popular mixes on the site for a very good reason. It's not as flashy as some others, but it's damn solid, and perfectly paced.
Legendary.

A truly amazing piece!
Has a powerful feel to it, but doesn't overdo it. This certainly makes my top 10 favorite ReMixes.

This is the kind of remix I love to hear when I'm sifting through pre-OCR01000 mixes Creative, utterly emotive, and the samples, while not perfect, are hardly enough to deter me from listening to the song over and over again. Guitar tone is perfect for the dark, forlorn mood.
One of the best classic songs on the site, and I think its popularity will continue for a long time to come.

How did I miss this? I've been here since '04: how did I miss this!? This is quickly working its way up into my "Top 25 Most Played" list. Amazing song!

The remix just works so perfect. Here's a band I thought some of you my fellow lovers of this song might like:
Les Sages-- www.lessages.com
btw, the first song is rather unlike most of the other ones.

This is seriously one kick-ass remix of Terra. The start isn't so hot (But that's just my opinion), but once the guitar kicks in, it just sends shivers done my spine.

god, i haven't even played this game (or any FF, just chrono trigger) but i'm in LOVE with this remix.
i don't even know the source material.. this song is just that good. i don't care, i love it.

I share these quite a bit with the ScoreHero/Guitar Hero community, but for whatever reason not usually this one. I think that's a bit silly.
Since I don't have remixing talent myself, this is the best I can do to say "thanks - this mix kicks ass."
