Arranging the music of one song...

Whhhaaaaaaeerrrrgh . . . for some reason - I think we should all hold AmIEvil accountable - this ReMix starts off with someone, perhaps the great ReMixer himself, yelling in a very "I've-had-a-few-too-many-Murphy's" sort of way. This VERY short ReMix is more of an experiment to see if AmI could come up with something that sounded "Live", and I think he did a pretty good job. The whole concept is like a blues band playing the underground theme from Super Mario as their soundcheck, which is a pretty good idea. Hell, who knows, maybe some bands do. Actually, "Mr.Bungle" has played it as a their last song as some concerts, and they're pretty big. Anyway, check out the organ, slammin' blues bass, and screaming drunk guy in AmIEvil's short but sweet concept piece. Whhhhhaaaaarrrrrgggh :)

Intro aside, there is plenty that could have been done here to expand on the warm-up, loose jam idea and it’s a shame that it just doesn’t go there at all or even get more than half a minute. It does sound like a sound check, but man, it could have been built to much more.

How did this song pass that quality filter several years back. This isn't the least bit substantial.

What the heck is with that intro? Definitely gets a no from me...and then it just basically is a song just started after. Not one of AmIEvil's shining achievements.

umm...
yeah, I can sorta see where this was going, like a band warming up before a performance.
I don't really care for this remix, especially the intro "WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARRG".
It could have been better if they just fleshed out the band warming up idea.

Yeah, much too short to really stand on it's own. Nice idea, but the idea could have supported a more complete track.

Too bad it was so short. It would be really nice to hear a longer version.

WAAAoohhhNoooothanks. The crowd in the background panned all over the place talking is a great effect, but it's too short to be enjoyable. A fun reminder of the site's roots, and a potentially cool idea, but far too short.

Hahahahahahah, that "WHAAAAAAAEEERRRGH" sound is addicting. I can't stop listening to the mix just for that sound.

Weeeaaarrrrrgh! this is good. I love that opening. It's kind of bluesy, as some other reviewers have said.
Weeeeaaaaaaaaarrrrrrrrgghhhh!

Whhhhhaaaaarrrrrgggh! lol, I love that. I'm gonna download this just so I can listen to that over and over. I love that bluesy sound, just gets you down and groovin. Hehe, 744.4 kb. Not often you see an entire song that small I think it could be at least 2 or 3 times longer, but it's really, really cool. AmIEvil is definitely the best remixer here. He's got amazing talent and versatility, and he's willing to try new and experimental things. I really like that.

I can describe this remix in 4 words, short, funky, groovy, and must-have.
Yes, its short, but hey, its pretty groovy...gotta love the rhythms!

This is definately a strange one for AmIEvil. Though, I still enjoyed this peice, it was lacking something within it, which was probobly an ending. The old style blues sound was unique, and caught my attention very quickly, then lost it at the sudden halt at the very end. In other words, I dont really think this song was anything extreamly special, but thats my oppinion, which is everything. But, you make the call, download it for yourself and find out what you think.

Pure genius.
WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRGGGGGH!!
This is definitely opening my cd of "crazy" OC songs.
Nice live sound to it, random things added here and there to keep things from repeating.
Next on the cd, Mario Bro's Dirty Mix!
WHA-WHA-WHA-WHA-WHA-WHA-WHA-WHA-WHA-WHA-WHAT'S A FIVE DOLLA SHEEP?!
Actually, it's a tough decision which should go first. I think dirty mix should go first since the whole song is crazy, then after the static at the end of that song, this immense scream of this song overcomes the listener, making their future kids have nightmares every night. Good times.
