Did I ever mention how much I absolutely love The Clash? From Should I Stay or Should I Go? to Train in Vain to Rock the Casbah, an awesome and versatile band. So, when I heard the intro to ailsean's latest punk track from Chrono Cross, I smiled and started singing 'Janie Jones' in my head . . . well, at least until the melody came in. This has a nice epic feel and, despite being 'punk' in some elements of its form (drums and aspect of the guitar verses and especially the intro bassline) does have a nice uplifting major-key chorus of sorts. Ailsean is great for that meaty guitar power lead sound, where every note has JUST the right amount of edge to it, so that nothing sounds thin and ugly, but all notes have body and grit to them. I've always dug that (yeah, I grooved out to Slash's guitar solos in old Guns & Roses songs when I was a lad ^^) so this is perfect for me, and in two minutes and 25 seconds, manages to kick some pretty varied booty. I say grab it and get ready to air guitar in your basement :)

I love this track. I love the energy of the guitars and the drums are even better.

It must be quite a task to transform one of the prettiest melodies in gaming into a sweaty, spitting, tattoo-covered punk anthem. But Ailsean makes it sound effortless.
It's got that essential rawness to it that completely puts the theme out of its element, but I really think it works in its favour. There's a lot to the original composition that is revealed once you throw the basics, like tempo and context, to the wind and just hammer it. In a way, it's a good decision not to expand too much on arrangement, because the subtle, natural elements would likely get too confused, especially with the various cameos throughout. I think it could have worked, but it comes with a great risk, and I'm just glad it works as good as it does now.
Terrific job, Ailsean, wherever you may be.

Nice guitar tone, and a cool take on some of the themes. Excellent solo as well. Some of the early entrances are a little late sounding on the lead, but that's about it.
Some of the drum panning at the very beginning was a little weird, and the bass sample is pretty uninspiring, but the guitars more than make up for it. The shift to the second theme near the end is absolutely inspiring, with a great drop out transition to it right before. Really uplifting stuff, and I wish it lasted longer.
Really nice stuff though.

Awesome. That is all I have to say. Ailsean really hits the spot with this short but sweet remix. The sound is just right with little roughness and guitar sounds great. Only complaint is that the drums aren't as good as they could be, but they still do the job nicely. One of Ailsean's best remixes and one of the best CC remixes.

Very good. It's catchy and it suits the Chrono series (though I've never heard anything from Radical Dreamers), and that makes it an excellent rock instrumental.

I don't know if anyone aggrees with me, but everytime I hear this song it just screams at me "LYRICS!! PLEASE, I WANT SOME LYRICS!!" This song is totally freakin' awesome, but I feel that if Ailsean puts in lyrics and maybe lengthens it a bit it would be twice as nice.

Just listening to various material, and I'm glad I got to hear this one again. Really love the tone on this one, and have for a while. The opening riffs really bring you into it. Classic stuff, Sean.

The guitar in this is great, and the drums are even better. Although I'm not a huge fan of this style, I still enjoy it a good bit.

Astounding, while not up to the level of Nikki learns a song or Terra in Black, this song is excellent in it's own right. the high tempo adds energy to a song that was previously a ballad. this requires great vision. excellent.

Amazing. But then, that describes everything that Ailsean does. He is one of the best ReMixers on the site.
I can't wait for more.

Superb! I was expecting something much slower and less energetic-needless to say I was quite pleasantly surprised. Between this, "Nikki Learns a Song", and "Knights Come Marching Home," Ailsean is almost obligated to create more fantastic Chrono Series remixes. Two thumbs enthusiastically waving around in the air.

My friends, THIS is punk rock. Do not be listening to Good Charlotte or any of those types of bands, and call it punk rock. No, THIS is where it's at.
Yet another great remix from Ailsean. And from Chrono Cross too, one of the games I loved the music from. Radical Dreamers was a good song IMO, and this just improves it. Instead of vocals I can't understand (but that sound quite good nonetheless), voila! A guitar, of which I am a big fan of. The drums give it a good feel, and it has all been put together quite well, considering the transition from a soft song to a punk rock one. And just as it get a little dull and loopy, it ends nicely. Thumbs up to you Ailsean, you've made another great remix.
10/10!
