This is just what I needed. Techno ReMixes are fun, Rock and Jazz ReMixes jam, and hip-hop ReMixes groove, but sometimes sugar-coated Nintendo platformer goodness in the form of a nice instrumental is just what the doctor ordered. Mazedude submits our first Kirby's DreamLand ReMix, and it's true to the name of the game in its very dreamlike floating between slower, minimalist reprises of the main melody on mallet / musicbox type tones and larger, more soaring arrangements with tuba-like bass, brass, oboe, steel drum, a flute section, fantastic bubbly effects, and very subtle percussive sleighbells. Yeah - it's jam-packed with flavor. Equally appropriate for putting the kids to sleep . . . uhhh . . . if you HAVE kids, or for dreaming the impossible dream, or trippin late at night. Or just for achieving a zen-like sense of oneness with the little pink thing that is . . . Kirby :) Memorable, fanciful, and entertaining stuff from Mazedude.

Well, this is a happy bubbly little tune, isn't it? This is one of those ReMixes that put a smile on my face for no reason other than sounding like a great song. This lullaby/musicbox part is so cute and I am so tempted to play that part for my niece on loop. I think she'd really like it (and hopefully fall asleep). Mazedude may have some funky moments, but this is just as good as any of them.

This is a happy song, and in no way can I deny that this is cute.
Not a lot that I can really say about this one, this just makes me feel really, really happy and start grinning like a goofball. The slowdown section in the middle was very adorable too.
A definate download and a great track

This remix is so relaxing. It feels like you are on a cloud. Well, that's why it's called the BubblyClouds. lol
I give this remix a relaxing 5 out of 5.

I remember not being such a fan of this track back then. I guess I can see where Mazedude was going with this now, but the beginning rubs me off the wrong way - might be the brass samples.

I love the tuba in this. Don't ask my why, it just makes me happy to hear it. What a cute little mix! The slow section is particularly adorable.
The bubble effects are perfect. Great addition.

I've had this song on my playlist for a few years now and I've always assumed it was an original, professionally made game track. I suppose I should have checked the ID3 or something, but whatever. Very cheerful, and the breakdown at the halfway point is great.
This song is sure to put a smile on your face.

Such a colourful mix we've got here, just what I needed
It doesn't get more calm and bright than this, Mazedude always taking on a new style and always comes out succesful
The part where it slows down is one of my favourites

Pretty good.
I like the choice of instruments...they work well in keeping with the upbeat theme without making you fall asleep. Like the usage of steel drums and so on instead of something synthier.
That said, the middle bit on the music box makes me drowsy...but thats a good thing and keeps in touch with the feel of the rest of the remix instead of, say, breaking out in a rock guitar riff (dont laugh it could happen) Though I must say that when it DID come to the music box I wondered where my tune had gone...its a little too quiet and could do with being louder...though that actually goes away when it gets loud again.
Good ending, too, I was expecting a fadeout, but the grid-down and halt worked just as well.

A good remix for a good game. This does major justice to the Bubbly Clouds theme. Relaxing, but not so to put you to sleep. The kind of music you could sway back and forth to. Yes, it truly fits this level. Grabit.

I like and have always liked and will always like this remix. It's cool. It's neat. It's fun. And it's an intensely listenable and well arranged piece of music that perfectly pays homage to Kirby's happy cheeryness. The part at 1:43 when it slows down is a perfect middle section to the mix and then it starts to build up to a nice optimistic end that brings me to tears every time I listen to it.
Thanks for bringing back the memories, Mr. Mazedude.

While I don't consider myself a Kirby fanatic, I do like playing the Kirby games, and I do love the classic Kirby theme. This isn't that theme, and I found it just a bit too slow and not chaotic enough to be a great Kirby ReMix. It's not bad, but it just somehow doesn't push the right buttons. Ah, well, certainly it's not all bad, and you may or may not like it, depending on how much you've played Kirby's Dreamland...

Kirby's Dream Land 'Bubbly Cloud Cafe'
Wee! I love this. Wee! This is great. Can you guess what my favourite game for Game Boy is? Huh? Can ya? I think I've already given you the broadest hint possible. I’m not going to lie to you here, this mix could have probably totally sucked ass and I would have liked it just because I've waited a long time for this. I was even contemplating doing a Kirby’s Dreamland mix myself, for a while there. And believe me when I say that you would not have wanted to hear that.
Trying really hard not to be biased now, I have to say I think this one needed a higher bit rate. Some of the cymbals sounded a little off which seems to me that this is usually because of the bit rate being lower then it should be. Besides that I honestly can’t find anything to complain about. Thank you for this excellent piece of work, Mazedude, you just made my day.
