Wow. Ever since Faze's first submission, from the first Lufia, I've been looking forward to the follow-up. It's arrived, in a major way, and Lufia fans, RPG fans, and lovers of good music in general are in for a treat. Faze takes on the same theme both myself and mp have mixed, in a style probably closer to the former but very much its own, unique animal. Introing with swirling ambient pads and some backwards effects, the semi-hip-hop drumbeat slowly fades in until piano arpeggio enters around 0'46", with a synth string rendition of the melody following soon after. It's at 1'50" or thereabouts, however, where a masterful acoustic guitar solo with a spanish/flamenco sorta sound to it takes over, and you wet your pants. Well, perhaps if you have good bladder control you'll merely think about doing so, but this is good stuff. With an already high-quality backdrop that shines in its own right, adding a guitar solo of this caliber really sets the mix over the top - kudos to Faze for a great, classic rendition of this track. It still reminds me of the main slow theme from The Terminator, every time I hear it, but that's not necessarily a bad thing (god I hope T3 doesn't suck)... at any rate, this one's a must-download, just as good if not better than Faze's impressive first submission, and comes highly recommended. 'Nuff said.

So, I found this song playing in the background of Fast and Furious 1 at 1:08:20, when Paul Walker is talking to Vin about how he is making all his extra cash, right after the race with the Ferrari. I hope the creator of this song got royalties!

Like OA this has been on my playlist and countless CD's for years. It's really a timeless song that combines so many emotional elements into an excellent track. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Very cool, spacious intro - it really sets the mood. I always struggle with intro's, so I envy those who make it sound so easy and natural. Things continue to flow seamlessly as the piano and other elememts kick in. Nice acoustic guitar work as well to change things up. Nothing really to complain about here - the song is very capably written and produced and is a very enjoyable listen.

This has been on my playlist for years, and it's good stuff. Great epically atmospheric main section, with a cool acoustic guitar solo. Great original theme, and a nice rendition of this.
Modulation was a nice touch and kept it building. This is a super good remix.

I wasn't a huge fan of the key change later on, but it grew on me. Solid interpretation. This laid down a nice subdued groove but definitely added a lot more substance and emotional weight compared to the SNES original. Nice work from Eric that holds up very well; good job.

Wow...I know this is a lil late but wow....I really wish that I could change some of the song in game with stuff like this....it would definately add mass replay value to my older games

I owe this remix a lot, if I hadn't heard it I would have never ran to the game store to pick up Lufia 1 2. This remix does the orignal more than justice. I never really thought of Terminator, but now that you mention it. Anyway's this track not only got me on the bandwagon of one of the best RPG series ever (IMO), it still fills me with love for the music everytime I listen. Thank you Faze.

Definitely does sound a bit like the Terminator theme. Still a 5/5 star on my winamp list of OCR remixes.

Awesome...just incredible.
I could hear the Terminator theme almost...and given how many times I've listened to that (because it kicks so much arse) that has to be a good thing, though it does tend to lend the remix a forlorn feel, if you know what I mean. Still, excellent, and a great piece just before sleeping.

Lovely slow melodic piece.. I had to check what turbid means in the dictionary, nice title. Lufia 2 was not a game I liked much but I did very much enjoy its music. It's as if this piece takes you on a bit of a journey, quite mysterious.. top effort!

Been listening to this one about 3-4 times a week for several months and have not gotten tired of it.
At first I didn't like it as much as the previous Lufia remix, but now I see the light. It's a great song to listen to in the early morning, as the first 10 seconds totally make me think sunrise and the initial stretch when you get out of bed.
The guitar part is wicked cool and makes me want more.
