There's two days left for our fundraiser, and we've got $347 to go. YES WE CAN! GO TEAM! Unfortunately, I've had a seriously hardcore case of strepp throat since Saturday night, so I've been unable to post mixes or do much of anything besides sleep, nap, and complain incoherently. Anna's taking care of me, though, and I'm on the antibiotics now, so slowly but surely I should be recuperating. I'm still pretty out of it, so you'll forgive me if I let Jordan do most of the talking regarding his latest trance opus:
"I want to dedicate this one to Darkesword for being so thoughtful, organizing a super metroid get well remix project, and everyone finishing it in 3 weeks time, thats truly remarkable and I dont think anything like that has been done for anyone on ocremix before. I feel truly blessed by this community. So I want to also take this opportunity to say thank you to everyone that supported me in the get well thread, and a big thank you to all the remixers who took the time to make me songs :) So on to the remix.Sir NutS started a small remix project for top gear 2 a little over a year ago, the soundtrack only has 5 tracks or so but they have a dance oriented feel. He wanted all the trance remixers on there and he said he especially wanted me so I thought definitely. I was caught by the auckland track and thought I could do something with it. The project kind of died out, but Rayza finished and submitted so I wanted to finish mine too since I thought it was worth finishing. Its a very fun, energetic, outdoor feel of a huge dance event so I called it dance nation. The synth work in this one shines, I designed a lot of the sounds myself and I'm pretty proud of it. There's also lots of vocal hits and a killer breakbeat section in the middle. I hope you guys enjoy my return to the remix game, I got plenty more on the way!"

As of writing, this is currently #7 on my iTunes "Most Played" list, right after Golbez n Goblins, and closely followed by White Skies. That's a hell of a combo from bLiNd right there, and I always seem to listen to all 3 in one go if I have the time.
The build is certainly long, but it's not boring at all. I love all the false drops that just tease you into thinking it's going to kick off, and when it finally does at 2:15 it's just amazing. The high effervescent synth fizzes along in the chorus, and the unexpected notes in the melody line caught me by surprise at first and really set the mix alight (I'm unfamiliar with the source so don't know if you added those yourself or not). The little break section in the middle is class as well.

This just gets more fun and more awesome every time I listen to it. Great job!

SAWEET mix friend! I know it's kind of cliche to say this'll be in my playlist for along time but it's so true! Very well done!

Went straight onto my trance playlist from the first time I heard it. Epic tune.

Overall a good remix, but what really stands out are the parts starting at ~2:15 and at ~4:45. Really, really great stuff.
Furthermore, I really like the "vocals" coming in at ~3:45; adds a layer of delicious cheese to the mix.
Very well done.

This song finally played on my Mp3 player (I set it to random, and there's like 8 gigs of music on it so yeah, took a while) today, and I was thoroughly impressed. Blind is consistently refining his sound, and it just gets better. Blind, keep up the good work, it's good to see quality dance tracks, especially crafted so well.

Well, I have never heard the source tune, or even played the game, but this remix is pretty catchy. The part from the beginning to about 1:33 seems a little long and repetitive (perhaps the nature of the genre you were going for?), but once the main theme of the mix kicks in it really starts to get awesome.
Nice work!

I've thought this was awesome since first hearing it at magfest, and it is still awesome. Great work, super full sound.

This is some good listenin' here bois!
I have to say I really like the vocal hits in this monster of a mix. They really add some unique flavor to bLiNd's already fantastic repertoire of electronic music skills.
Sweet stuff. Sold.

This is another remix that came out from my unfinished Top Gear 2 Remix Project (Along with Rayza's awesome remix). There were going to be only a few songs on it, and this was one of the strongest of the pack. Needless to say, it's bLiNd, so you know it's going to be awesome.
Now I need to get off my lazy ass and finish the remix I had prepared for the project so I can get it posted as well.

Production is great, don't like the music though... this type of Trance sound more or less originates from my country (Holland) and I've never liked it, nor do I like the crowd who dances to it.
That said, production's great and I do like some other stuff from blind, like the awesome Temple Trance, an OC remix classic.
