ReMix:Shovel Knight "More Might" 3:13
By Hypetreme
Arranging the music of one song...
"Fighting with All of Our Might"
Primary Game: Shovel Knight (Yacht Club Games , 2014, WIIU), music by Jake Kaufman, Manami MatsumaePosted 2019-02-11, evaluated by Gario
From newcomer Hypetreme comes a blistering metal take on "Fighting with All of Our Might" from Shovel Knight:
Software/gear used:
DAW: Reaper
Guitar: Schecter Hellraiser, Kazrog Thermionik
Bass: Bass Room Amp, TSE BOD
Drums: Superior Drummer 2, apTrigga2
Other: TAL-Reverb-2
Mastering: iZotope Ozone 5
Short, sweet, & to the point; though some background would have been cool, it's always interesting to see who's using what... and how it sounds. In this case: great! Production is tight & lets the speedy, satisfying arrangement do its thing. Gario writes:
"Hey there! This is some clean, rockin' arranging, here. The leads are crisp, the background and drum work are clear, and most of all it's loud without compromising the production quality - not an easy feat. The arrangement has more than enough to keep the listener interested, and it's just the right length to where the wall of sound style track doesn't get old. Great stuff. This track is perfect. Thanks for sending it our way!"
This mix is pretty easy to dig, much like the game & its music, and I like the additional octane the artist has infused into an already inspiring, motivational, & catchy source. Not much else to say - great, fun, intuitive & polished stuff from Hypetreme; hope to hear more in the future!

Echoing what others have said about how clean this remix is. I knew right away that this was going to be a banger based on the production quality alone. This was also one of the rare remixes that made me look up the original source (Which is baller I might add.). This was simply put, a fantastic rockin remix. Excellent job!

The production is clean, the arrangement takes what made the source great and beefs it up and it lasts long enough to get the job done. This is probably the most clear cut ReMix I've heard in a while, and it sounds amazing.

Oh man, this frickin' rocks. It's so clean - the drums and handle of the melody is so beautifully clear and perfectly matched. You can't listen to this and not feel triumphant and battle ready. Special props for the beautiful transition section at 2:15-2:35, which totally nails the section without sacrificing an ounce of energy.
Crisp and sharp as your favorite knife.

Things really come full circle when this site posts remixes of VGM tunes composed by VGM remixers! I love virt's music and this is a great cover
