Arranging the music of one song...
"Woodtick"

There are some words which, when combined in sequence, tend to pique one's interest. I personally think "Three-Headed Monkey Combat" lays legitimate claim to such status, so Yffisch (Kristofer Yffén) has my complete attention already with this acoustic folk/accordion Monkey Island 2 follow-up to his drunken debut from 2014:
"This is a cover of all the Woodtick themes in one place. I play this with me, myself, and I on accordion, flutes, harmonica, and clarinet.
I've seen some different versions of people playing the whole "Woodtick" medley on the piano, but I've never seen an arranged version of that tune, only copy-paste versions of the original (which I'm very fond of). So, I took a deep breath before I decided to do this, because I knew how hard it would be to learn all the notes from all the songs by ear, since all the parts are quite similar and it's a mess to separate them from each other in the head. But, after two weeks of practising on my accordion, I could finally separate all the parts in my head which led to this remix after some additional weeks. Enjoy!"
Very cool process; Kristofer's multi-instrumental talents let him put together something that breaths with life & inhabits the type of universe a live-action Monkey Island would do well to emulate. There's bellowing accordion, there's ebb & flow, there's flotsam and jetsam, just kidding that doesn't really make sense, AND there's Cookie Monster-style pirate vocalizing at the end, which is ANOTHER one of those compelling sequences of words. It's intuitive, of course, to apply this aesthetic to a Monkey Island source - but it's hard to do it this damn well, and with this much character. From the clicks of the accordion keys to the grace notes on some rather lovely flute lines, the details on this shine through, and it's a worthy sibling to the artist's first featured mix in the same vein.
I can without hesitation recommend three-headed monkey combat AND this mix; great stuff from Yffisch!

Full props for playing all of this yourself! The instrumentation was spot-on for the theme and this kind of track. +1 for the majestic vocals that came in at the end. Bravo!

I loved the singing. It really cracked me up and fitted the source and remix really well!

Not familiar with the original, but I love this. So much personalty! You did a great job in making it sound like a full-band ("band") take.

Happy Pi-rate Day!
Also, this is pretty good and I enjoy it quite a lot. The parts
were well played and the arrangement built appropriately without
going overboard (see what I did there?). I have a very soft place
in my heart for Monkey Island, so I'm also pretty particular. I'd
say this passes the three trials for me and is well on its way
to become a mighty pirate.
tl:dr - I liked it.
