"Gravity Man Stage"

Absolutely killer rock/funk/jazz (w/ BRASS!) take on Mega Man 5's "Gravity Man Stage" from Leandro Abreu & co.:
"In December, I recorded two new arrangements and I would like to submit one that I finished. It was a challenge to record this arrangement, but I believe it was worth it. :D
Hope you enjoy. ;)"
Musicians:
- Leandro Abreu - Arrangement (Arranjo), Guitar (Guitarra), Keys (A200)
- Helton Lima - Drums (Bateria)
- Leo Quintão - Bass (Baixo)
- Marco Lima - Trumpet (Trompete)
- André Pastore - Bass Trombone (Trombone Baixo)
I believe so as well - Leandro essentially bats 1000, and when the breakdown at 1'16" drops, be sure your body is ready. On top of a rock-solid foundation, there are drum fill solos, a guitar solo, a trumpet solo, some unexpected & crazy changeups, and simply amazing, funky energy all around. FYI, there's an performance music video, too. Liontamer evaluated:
"I was first introduced to Mega Man 5's vastly underrated soundtrack by Joshua Morse's early cover album Megaman 5, Dashed!, so any time I hear another artist that enjoys Mari Yamaguchi's score too, I've got to fire it up. "Gravity Man" is one of MM5's catchiest stage themes, and it's no surprise at all that Leandro and crew have come through with a spirited take with their usual polish, going for an initial cover before expanding out into the great variations and comping that I've come to expect (the guitar & trumpet work in the section before the final chorus from 2:46-3:33 was my personal highlight). Be sure to check out all of Leandro works, and you'll enjoy his special blend of rock & jazz! :-)"
And funk - it's a great blend, made all the better by personalized, energized performances from the talented musicians Leandro works with. Badass!

This packs quite the musical punch! I would describe this remix as sharp and witty, it does what it sets out to do very well and it was a blast to listen to. Good job!

Dang, this is slick! I almost remixed this one myself a while back; loving the funk vibes on this... one of the best tracks IMO from MM5; good choice!

This is insane!! One of Leandro co.'s best tracks to date as far as I'm concerned. Great work everyone!
