From The Radventure of Link comes this groovy surf rock take on "Kokiri Forest," from Audio Mocha (Daniel Florez):

"I was inspired during the summer of 2021 to work on more Zelda music after jamming around with Zelda tunes on my DigiTech Trio+ in hopes of having something nice to show for the Linktober Creator Con in late May/early June. While I wasn't able to show off anything then since I was preparing for my son's birth at the time, I ended up having a few ideas jotted down. What got me to start fleshing them out more was GameGrooves' announcement of The Summer of Zelda. I figured that I already had these few Zelda ideas in my looper and also had a few old tracks that needed some TLC, so I then spent the summer working on a bunch of Zelda tracks. This was one of the new tracks I made and the one I'm proudest of and one of the first tracks where I've given a prominent role to my EHX C9 organ pedal. When I was jamming out to "Kokiri Forest" and started using the organ pedal in it, I felt like that was the biggest element that tied the whole track together. Now that the Summer of Zelda is coming to a close, I finished up my self-imposed Zelda challenge and am proud to present my newest EP, The Radventure of Link, available now on Bandcamp."

Guitar players sometimes get a little uppity about keyboard players emulating guitars, but now the roles are reversed :) That pedal does a pretty sweet job, though, and the organ bits here come off legit & fit with the rough-and-tumble, swingy-shuffle, carefree positive vibes the genre is associated with. Liontamer evaluated:

"Damn, son, surf's up! I do wish the source melody was more in the foreground, but that's a personal taste thing. Very stylish right from the get-go, and I like how this isn't overproduced! Easy to think this was a live band performance based on the energy here. Well, shit, check out the rest of The Radventure of Link! :-)"

With surf rock especially, you really want that live band sound, including some of the looseness - there's nothing bodacious OR rad about quantization, in this context. Daniel conjures up a jam band playing a Zelda-themed beach party on a particularly gorgeous day, with sun shining, breeze blowing, & waves lapping at your feet. Live that salt life while embracing your inner gamer & check out the mix AND the full album!

It was then that I realized that there wasn't nearly enough surf rock on OCR, what a bummer, dude. I agree that this is gnarly, not so sure on the tubular part. Jokes aside, this is really well played and very good. The part around 2:52 is my favorite ?

This is so gnarly tubular! Now you got me picturing Link as a surfer dude. Missed opportunity in Wind Waker, eh? Cowabunga!
