Happy International Women's Day! As the proud product of a determined single mom, lucky husband of a strong, intelligent wife, and befuddled girl dad of a cuddly, sassy sweetie, it's time to celebrate ladies, ladies, ladies as we show love and appreciation to the women in our lives. There's no better way to do that around these parts than by spotlighting female ReMixers, so let's quickly shine the light on 5!

Our fifth & final celebratory mixpost goes to the arranger with the most tracks on OCR, as the incomparable RebeccaETripp heads up a fearsome foursome of collaborators for a lush 4-game Zelda water medley that'll leave your skin glowing and your joints feeling less... middle-aged & creaky! :-D Broken into multiple parts for OCR, Tripp wraps up her water suite with us:

"Again, I had the help of three amazing performers in this arrangement. The oboe and English horn were performed by Medllix, the flute and piccolo by Gamer of the Winds, and the ocarina by Steven Higbee! Thanks so much! You made it even better than it would've been! I highly recommend checking out their channels, as they've all produced many beautiful tracks!

Here is a list of the songs included:

I put a lot of life force into this one! <3 This is one of the things I'm the most proud of right now! ^_^"

Tripp can undoubtably hold her head high at successfully creating yet another ambitious mega-medley; each and every segment of the grander water medley flows so well, a sentiment shared by judge Emunator:

"Delightful! It's a medley of all the things that I love most about Rebecca's arrangements - delicate rearrangement and fusion of themes, a cohesive soundscape, and a cast of supporting instrumentalists that fills in the gaps [of] her programmed orchestra [...]. This whole suite of tracks is transcendent and beautiful, definitely one of the easiest RET submissions I've judged in a minute. :)"

My personal highlight was the "Ascent" section at 3:52, just a captivating expansion on a scant yet lovely source, with particular resonance for those who've completed Link's Awakening. It's a pleasure to end our special International Women's Day spotlight on such a relaxing new age note; not our first time featuring her on this annual occasion and hopefully not the last. Since her arrival, Rebecca Tripp's become a foundational presence in our scene, so stay with us as she steadily treks the (currently) solitary trail toward 100 OC ReMixes!
